Great upgrade in comparison to JRL Onyx & Ghost

For context; I've been using Gold 2020 Fresh Fades for like 4 years, I paired them with an Onyx Clipper 2 years ago; and finally an Onyx Trimmer 3 months ago. I prefer keeping most of my set up as monogamous to a single brand as possible; so as to establish reliability and consistency in my work. I've been using The Diamante Set for 2 days, here are my observations:

1) The Easy-Gap System on both The Clipper & The Trimmer make them my essential set for blending out bald fades. I am a perfectionist when I Zero-Gap a clipper and the process takes me a solid hour most times; with these it only took about 25 minutes, and I was being careful because they're new! I replaced my Gold Fresh Fades with these, then I popped the taper blade onto my Onyx because there was no way that I'd be able to Zero-Gap the Onyx as effectively as I Zero-Gapped the Diamantes. The Zero-Gap System on the Diamantes is nothing less than a major evolution in Blade Setting; it just make things so easy!

2) The Ergonomics are amazing! So as I mentioned earlier, I bought the Onyx Trimmer like 3 months ago, and they came with a Thumb Groove which wasn't present on the Gold 2020Trimmer; I absolutely LOVE that thumb groove when doing Beard Work. I didn't think you could improve on the Onyx but then I handled The Diamantes, and yeah, they are WAY more comfortable in hand. Not only do they impart more confidence in my grip as I work odd angles, but I have also observed a noticeable reduction in hand fatigue & wrist soreness after busy days at the barbershop; and I am more than willing to give the Diamantes the credit for this reduction. Honestly, the contouring on the Diamantes is next level comfortable!

So when I consider the evolution of the Zero-Gapping System, and the next level ergonomic contouring, the Diamantes are a logical upgrade to The Ghost & The Onyx; at very slight price increase. But then when you take into account the massive discounts that Clipper Vault consistently offers, these are a no brainer purchase!!

they cut really good but when u first get them u need search up a whole tutorial to put on the guards and its a pain and difficult i was confused but overall good shipping fast and cuts good
